The Jewish Academy of Orlando celebrated its 40th anniversary at the Dr. Phillips Center on Sunday, Dec. 17. Former academy students and parents with children currently enrolled gathered together for drinks, dinner and fun. Board member Dr. Jordan Steinberg and his wife Nathalie were honored for their work with the academy. Dr. Edward Zissman, the first president of the academy’s board of directors, was given a lifetime achievement award as well.
