Guests united for a good cause for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's yearly gala on Saturday, Nov. 4. JDRF's 11th Imagine gala, held at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal, raised money for type 1 diabetes research through both a silent and live auction. Guests bid on a variety of glamorous gifts, all in the hopes of finding a cure for the disease. Many of the gala's audience were friends and families of children with type 1 diabetes, which made the night a personal affair. The Veigle family was honored for their work with JDRF. Later in the night, guests bid on Hope, a goldendoodle puppy.
