Lovers of bacon around the area rejoiced this weekend as they took in the Festival of Bacon at Lake Baldwin Park on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Featuring local restaurants from around town like The Ravenous Pig, Swine & Sons Provisions, and A Muddy Pig set up shop in the park, offering up pig-central dishes to hungry customers.
Sean Holcomb was on hand to play live music while adults enjoyed their bacon and drinks, while kids took in bouncy houses and games.
The Festival of Bacon was partnered with Guys With Ties Philanthropy, and a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Maitland’s New Hope for Kids.
