More than 650 freshman and new transfer students descended upon several locations throughout the Winter Park area as they took part in Rollins College's 13th Annual SPARC Day on Saturday, Aug. 25.
SPARC — which stands for Service, Passion, Action, Rollins College — has become an integral part of the school's orientation, as it focuses on providing community service for local organizations.
From mural painting and general up keep at Killarney Elementary to the outdoor beautification at Winter Park Day Nursery, students provided numerous services throughout the morning.
