Nailah Patterson wheeled mulch to the park’s plants.

Megan Vitale and Pamela Duran worked hard in the hot weather.

Zach Smirti shoveled mulch into the wheelbarrow.

Vounteers had to tread carefully around a pair of snakes resting in the shade.

The entire team was proud of their accomplishments.

Volunteers pruned, weeded and cleaned up Kraft Azalea Garden on Saturday, June 10. The monthly cleanup event had several locals spread mulch and clear debris to keep the garden in shape.
