Winter Park honored the country’s fallen heroes in the military with its “We Remember Them” Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 28. Numerous visitors and members of local veteran organizations gathered at Glen Haven Memorial Park for a service that included a presentation of colors, tributes to fallen soldiers, gold star families, civil war soldiers and more. Keynote speaker U.S. Marine Corps helicopter pilot Scott Harris delivered a moving speech to the crowd.
