The UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management honored Dr. Abraham Pizam, the founding dean of the Rosen College, at its annual Pineapple Ball on Saturday, Nov. 3. The Rosen Shingle Creek-held fundraiser had nearly 400 Rosen staff and supporters mingle and raise money for the college’s programs and scholarships. Pizam was inducted into the Central Florida Hospitality Hall of Fame, a group of recognized tourism and hospitality leaders.
