NAMI Greater Orlando put on a successful benefit at the Winter Park community center on Friday, Sept. 21. The mental health awareness and recovery organization, which helps people in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, had musical performances from the Greater Orlando Actors Theatre as well as a presentation from comedian and mental health advocate Johnny Crowder for its first benefit. Money raised at the silent auction went towards the organization's mental health support and advocacy programs.
