Guests put on their finest headwearfor the Kids Beating Cancer organization’s 2018 Hats & Heroes Ball on Saturday, Sept. 29. The pediatric cancer research and support nonprofit’s “Dream the Dream” fundraiser, presented by Saxon Clark Furniture Patio Design and held at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, led off with an afternoon cocktail reception before guests settled down for French cooking and music from the “Les Miserables” production by countertenor Terry Barber and his orchestra. Money raised at the event went towards clinical and research trials at the organization’s pediatric transplant center.
