Cannonball Kids’ Cancer’s patrons returned to Maitland for the fourth annual gala on Saturday, April 6. The 2019 Gold Gala, held at a private residence overlooking Lake Maitland, had guests donning their most elegant golden attire in the hopes of raising $500,000 for the nonprofit - $100,000 more than last years gala. American Idol winner and songwriter Phillip Phillips performed later in the night. Cannonball Kids’ Cancer works to fund research for children fighting cancer.
