Runners got some cardio along a unique stretch of dirt road in Winter Park and took home trees at the Run for the Trees 27th annual Jeannette Genius McKean Memorial 5K on Saturday, April 27, starting outside the Center for Health and Wellbeing.
The last mile of the race took place along the tree-canopied dirt road of Genius Drive — a privately-owned glimpse of old Florida only open to the public once a year specifically for the annual 5K.
