The city of Winter Park’s leading businesses and community members were celebrated at the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s “Cheers to You!” awards ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 24. Winter Park community figures and businesses representatives gathered at the Mead Botanical Garden’s newly-renovated clubhouse for a night of drinks, food and recognition. Retired Winter Park Fire-Rescue chief Jim White was named the 2018 Lydia Gardner Citizen of the Year.
