Chamber hosting tele-town hall meeting with Rep. Thompson

Speakers at the virtual meeting will provide information on local and state issues.

The West Orange Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual town hall meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 8. Rep. Geraldine F. Thompson is partnering with the chamber for the meeting.

Participants will hear from local and state leaders about developments in agriculture, education, social justice, COVID-19 and reopening the economy. Scheduled to speak are Commissioner Nikki Fried, of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; health officer Dr. Raul Pino, of the Florida Department of Health-Orange County; Pam Gould, Orange County School Board member, District 4; and division chief Lauraleigh Avery, manager of Orange County Emergency Management.
