Census kiosks set up

The locations are available for folks who don’t have access to the internet and want to submit their forms.

U.S. Census officials have set up seven census kiosks in Orange County’s community centers, including the Maxey Community Center, 830 Klondike St., Winter Garden. These are available for residents who might not have access to the internet and want to submit their forms.

There is staff at each center to help anyone who wants to use the kiosks. The Maxey Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

To take the census online, visit 2020census.gov/. To take it over the phone, call (844) 330-2020.

As of Sept. 3, census officials report the following self-response rates:

• Florida – 61.9%

• Orange County – 62.3%

 

In West Orange County:

• Oakland – 61.8%

• Ocoee – 70.1%

• Windermere – 73.2%

• Winter Garden – 71.7%
