Teen killed in shooting

Orange County deputies responded to a call early Monday in Ocoee.

UPDATE: The deceased teen has been identified as Jesus Ramirez. The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was not random and there is no lingering danger to the public.

 

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 4:40 a.m. Monday, July 19, in reference to a shooting. The call was to the 500 block of Second Street in Ocoee.

Deputies located the 15-year-old victim and rendered aid, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the OCSO.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and the sheriff’s office will provide updates as more information becomes available.
