Road closures in effect in Ocoee

Utility infrastructure improvements in Ocoee closes Flewelling Avenue for four days.

The city of Ocoee announced the closure of Flewelling Avenue from Wednesday, Aug. 6, to Saturday, Aug. 9.

As the city completes its infrastructure improvements, Flewelling Avenue will be closed from Jay Street to Spring Street.

Residents still have access to Action Park via Orange Avenue or Cardinal Street.

The city asks drivers to be cautious of workers in the area and to take alternate routes if possible.

The road will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday to noon on Saturday.
