Orange County Utilities issued a boil advisory on the evening of Monday, Aug. 11, after a water main break off South Apopka-Vineland Road south of Vinings Way Boulevard happened.

This precautionary boil advisory was initially issued until Friday, Aug. 15, but due to unsatisfactory required lab results, the area should continue boiling water before consumption until Sunday, Aug. 17.

This includes water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice and hand washing dishes.

For more information on the status of the advisory, call the Boil Water Hotline at (407) 254-9670.
