Windermere High rated among the best high schools in Florida

U.S. News & World Report ranked the best high schools in Florida and Windermere is on that list.

Windermere High School was ranked No. 65 Best High School in Florida by the U.S. News & World Report.

Only four other OCPS schools were among this ranking.

They are Freedom High, Lake Nona High, Timber Creek High and Winter Park High.

Windermere High was also ranked No. 4 best school in Orange County.

These rankings are based on college readiness, state assessment proficiency and performance, underserved student performance, and college curriculum breadth.

Other West/Southwest High Schools rated in the top 10 in Orange County are West Orange High and Horizon High schools.
