Reclaimed water is not available in Winter Garden

The city is asking Winter Garden residents with reclaimed water to turn off their irrigation system until Monday, Dec. 15.

The city of Winter Garden is asking residents with reclaimed water to turn off their irrigation system.

Residents should have their systems turned off Tuesday, Dec. 9, through Monday, Dec. 15.

The city said the request is due to recent heavy rainfall and construction at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

When reclaimed water is available again starting Monday, Dec. 15, residents can turn on their irrigation system.

"Thanks to the recent heavy rains, there is no need to water your lawns and landscape this week," the city stated. "Thank you for your patience and cooperation."
