The city of Ocoee is calling all middle and high school students to submit a 45-second infomercial explaining what to flush and what not to flush down a toilet.
This initiative is part of the Florida Water Environment Association, where students from sixth to 12th grade will teach others what happens when flushed contents get to the sewer system.
Students should create a 45-second video, varying from a newscast, to a skit, to an animation, to a music video.
Cash prizes will be distributed to first, second and third places.
Students can win twice by submitting videos to both the city of Ocoee and the FWEA contests.
The submission deadline is Feb. 6.
