Fire Station 32 officially will go into operation Wednesday, Dec. 17, and will serve the Horizon West and Four Corners areas.

The new station is located off Hartzog Road at 13826 Luna Harvest Ave., Winter Garden.

The station features living quarters, enhanced health and safety features and operational efficiencies to better serve the community.

For years, Station 32 was serving the Southwest Orange Community from a leased space in a Publix Shopping Center.

“I am thrilled to see this team move into a permanent home with the resources to better protect our residents,” Orange County Commissioner Nicole Wilson said. “Public safety is always worth the investment.”
