One of the founding members of Oakland Nature Preserve has died at the age of 92.
Peggy Sias Lantz was a "jack of all trades."
From being a school music teacher, to choral director, writer and editor, Lantz has touched the lives and hearts of many.
As a nature enthusiast and a conservationist, Lantz had 10 books published throughout her life and fought for the preservation of Florida's lands.
A service will be held in January to honor her life, though a date has not been announced yet.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy of service and advocacy.
