A second pair of players from the historic 2024 Windermere football team, defensive lineman Daniel Bradley and defensive back Micah Winslow, have announced they will join their Wolverine teammates Jack Reilly and Noah Elkhander in the FCS after announcing their respective commitments.
Winslow won’t be going too far, as he joins Elkhander in DeLand as a member of the Stetson football team.
“I'm blessed to announce my commitment to play football at Stetson University after a great visit and conversations with Coach Wallace and Coach Jasper,” Winslow wrote in a social media post. “I'd like to thank God, my parents, every coach and every teammate who supported me in my journey to get where I am today. I'm excited for my future and ready to be a Hatter!”
Unlike his three FCS-bound teammates who will play their college football in the Pioneer League — Elkhander and Winslow at Stetson and Reilly at Morehead State — Bradley will be taking his talents to the Missouri Valley Conference as a member of the South Dakota State Jack Rabbits, who have won the FCS National Title two of the past three seasons.
That’s not the only difference between the 6-foot-4, 240-pound haunter of quarterbacks and his high school teammates; Bradley’s decision meant he had to decommit from Clark Atlanta University.
“I would like to thank all the coaches who showed interest in me during my recruitment process,” Bradley wrote in a social media post. “After much thought and consideration, I have decided to decommit from Clark Atlanta and commit to South Dakota State University to pursue my academic and football endeavors.”
At a ceremony at the school on Wednesday, Feb. 5, the four signed national letters of intent to make their commitment official.
