ONP to present “Living with Bears”

The nature preserve and FWC will share information on learning how to peacefully coexist with Florida black bears.

The Oakland Nature Preserve is inviting residents to a presentation on “Living with Bears in the Town of Oakland” at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. It will take place at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St., Oakland.

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission will share information on how to peacefully coexist with Florida black bears. A large bear has been seen roaming in the Oakland area the last few weeks.
