Central Park in Windermere is closed for repairs

On Friday, July 11, the town of Windermere announced the temporary weekend closure to Central Park.

The town of Windermere announced that Central Park will be closed from Friday, July 11, to Sunday, July 13.

Contractors will be in the area completing repairs to the walkway around Central Park, located at Oakdale Street, Windermere.

The town said the park's closure is for the safety of Windermere's residents and to give time for the Flexi Pave material (type of eco-friendly porous pavement made from recycled materials) to dry.

Central Park will reopen on Monday, July 14.
