Body of missing boater recovered from Lake Butler

On Saturday, July 12, a man in his 20s fell off a boat in Lake Butler, never resurfacing.

On Monday, July 15, Orange County officials announced the recovery of a body in Lake Butler.

On Saturday, July 12, a man identified as 24-year-old Igor Pessoa De Oliveira fell off a boat while enjoying his day with friends.

It is unknown how he fell off the boat, however, he never resurfaced.

The body was recovered by the Marine Unit of Orange County on Sunday, July 14, around 11:30 a.m.

No other details have been released at this time.
