Goodwill food drive collects more than 8,000 pounds of food for domestic-abuse survivors

The Goodwill Industries of Central Florida and WFTV 9 Family Connection partnered up to help Annabel's Place in Seminole County.

The Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is happy to announce their extraordinary turnout for its annual summer food drive. 

According to Account Executive Kim Farah, Goodwill partnered with WFTV 9 Family Connection to collect donations for domestic abuse survivors at Annabel's Closet in Seminole County. 

The organization offers furniture and other essential household items. 

This year, it collected over 8,000 pounds of food in donations. 

These nonperishable food items with be able to aid around 2,000 people.
