Ocoee is hosting Family Recreation Day for some fun in the sun

On Saturday, July 19, the City of Ocoee Parks and Leisure Services will host Family Rec Day at the Jim Beech Recreation Center.

The city of Ocoee is hosting a family event on Friday, July 19 at the Jim Beech Recreation Center.

According to the city's website, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with live music, free food, inflatables and water slides, a game truck and more.

It'll take place at 1820 A.D. Mims Road in Ocoee.

The event will also include Greater Vision Enterprise’s 4th Annual Back-to-School Bash, which will offer free backpacks, school supplies and other essentials.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to freely go into the Family Aquatic Center to enjoy the pool, which is located adjacently to the Jim Beech Recreation Center.
