New pizza spot opening soon in Horizon West

Horizon West is getting a new pizza restaurant.

Pie-Fection, a Brazilian pizza spot will open soon at 13211 Reams Road Suite 108, Windermere.

The location has been vacant since Playa Pizza closed down Dec. 31, 2024.

The restaurant is known for its Brazilian-style pizzas, but it offers other dishes as well, varying from pastas to calzones.

Some popular flavors offered there are the Portuguese pizza, the heart of palms with catupiry pizza among others. Pie-Fection also offers sweet pizzas with Nutella, guava and cheese, bananas, strawberries and more.

With signage already up at the Windermere Center and designated parking spots set up for the restaurant, it looks like it'll open very soon, though no opening dates have been released yet.
