Orlando Health — Health Central Hospital has received the Emergency Nurses Association’s 2025 Lantern Award.

The award, which is regarded as the highest recognition an emergency department can receive, is given to hospitals for demonstrating excellence in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research.

“I’m really proud of the hard work the emergency department team puts in 24/7 to deliver the best possible care to this community,” said Steven Moss, Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital Emergency department director, in a news release. “In order to provide excellent emergency care to any patient who walks through our doors, it’s a coordinated effort among our dedicated physicians, nurses and additional team members.”
