Daniel Raya, who plans to attend Valencia College for nursing, and Bryce Saint Louis, who plans to attend the University of South Florida for computer science, said they wanted to be seen as “serious” before graduation.

Ethan DeVore, who plans to join the RTC then go into the Air Force, and Logan Flaven, who plans to join the Army, got ready for their graduation.

Legacy High School celebrated the graduation of all 45 seniors in its Class of 2025 on Saturday, May 24.
The 10 a.m. ceremony took place in the school gym, where friends and families gathered to honor the students’ achievements. According to CEO Crystal Yoakum, the school has once again maintained a 100% graduation rate—an accomplishment she proudly shared as she welcomed attendees.
The ceremony started with an invocation by Michael Yoakum, who thanked God for the students’ success and the strength of the school community.
Legacy High School Principal Mario Medley then took stage to greet the graduates and parents. He compared the emotions of the graduating seniors to those of his newborn son.
“Both are emotional rollercoasters,” he joked while addressing the crowd.
Medley later presented valedictorian Jordan Shoemaker with the school’s prestigious Eagle Award and student Hadassah Gusmao with the President's Education Award.
Rachel Alexander, the Class of 2025 salutatorian, soon delivered her salutatory address. She thanked her family, friends and God for their support throughout her academic journey.
Shoemaker also addressed her classmates, encouraging them to carry their values into the next chapter of life.
