Foundation Academy’s seventh grader Connor Lucas etched himself in the school’s history. He became the first Lion to compete in the FLYRA Middle School State Cross-Country Championships.

In states Lucas ran a personal best of 10:53 in the 3K and finished No. 26 out of 201 runners in the private school division. He had strong performances earlier in the season to get himself to that point.

All of Foundation’s varsity cross-country team came to support Lucas and showcased the team spirit surging through the Lions’ programs.
