Lake Buena Vista boys and girls swim teams place third in districts

The Vipers placed third in districts and are sending 11 swimmers to regionals.

Lake Buena Vista boys and girls swim teams wrapped up the 3A District 4 Championships Friday, Oct. 31, with both teams earning third-place finishes. 

In total the teams’ swimmers had 11 first place finishes in various events, 10 in second and five in third. 

The Vipers are sending six girls and five boys to regionals at Rosen Aquatic Center Thursday, Nov. 6.

Girls 

Adelaide Phillips: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 500 free, 100 butterfly 

Vlada Dogot: 200 IM, 100 fly, 200 medley relay 

Manoela Lima: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 500 free, 100 backstroke 

Rebekah Gaynor: 500 and 200 free, 200 and 400 free relay 

Ana Luisa Lima: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 100 breaststroke

Elizabeth Gaynor: 200 medley, 50 free, 200 free relay 

Boys

Jayden Tsai: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 500 free, 200 IM

Jacob Tsai: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 200 IM, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke

Jeronimo Marin Ortiz: 500 and 200 free, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay 

Thomas Barbosa Bonilla: 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 100 backstroke, 100 IM

Sebastian Fink-Mariani: Relay alternate
