The AdventHealth Winter Garden gathered team members to pack meals to send to Jamaica.

The team was able to pack a whopping 40,000 meals to support Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa caused catastrophic damage.

These meals also will go toward families in Winter Garden in need of food due to SNAP benefits being cut.

"This effort reflects our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ and our commitment to improving lives in meaningful ways," the hospital posted on social media. "Together, we're feeding bodies, uplifting spirits and strengthening communities."
