Water Spring Middle School Principal Brian Sanchez Corona will take over as Horizon High School’s principal beginning Monday, Dec. 1.

The announcement follows the departure of Andrew Jackson, Horizon’s former principal, who recently accepted a position as West Orange’s principal.

Sanchez Corona has led Water Spring Middle since it opened in August 2021 and was involved in the school’s planning and launch. In his message to the families he described serving Water Spring as “one of the greatest honors of my life.”

Water Spring has not announced who will take over the helm.
