Orange County to host family day

West Orange families, get ready to enjoy a Saturday full of fun, family and community hosted by Orange County Government. 

The event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Chapin Station, 501 W. Crown Point Cross Road, Winter Garden. 

Attendees can expect a variety of outdoor activities, games and music from 2 to 6 p.m. and a free movie showing from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Food trucks will be present during the event as well.

"Madagascar-Escape 2 Africa" will be playing, which is an 89-minute, family-friendly movie. Orange County asks attendees to bring lawn chairs and snacks for the viewing. 

The event does not allow pets in the viewing area or alcohol in the park.
