Olympia teacher selected for Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program

Gloria Boisvert, an AP Environmental Science teacher, was the only Florida educator to be selected for the program.

Gloria Boisvert, am AP Environmental Science teacher at Olympia High School, was recognized by school board member Anne Douglas for her dedication and hard work. 

Boisvert has been an educator for 13 years and is honored to be the only Florida teacher to be selected to participate in the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program. 

She is one of 81 educators from 33 states to be selected to participate in it. 

The program is a yearlong professional learning opportunity and short-term exchange for elementary, middle and high school educators from the United States. 

It is designed for educators to develop skills to prepare students for a competitive global economy while bringing an international perspective to their schools through targeted training, experience abroad and global collaboration.

Boisvert also was recognized for fostering wellness and collaboration among teachers at Olympia High.
