Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital receives 'A' grade

Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and Health Central Hospital received 'B' grades.

Orlando Health — Horizon West Hospital has earned an 'A' grade from the Leapfrog Group.

The Leapfrog Group is an independent nonprofit committed to driving quality, safety and transparency in the U.S. health system. 

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program exclusively based on hospital prevention of hospital errors, infections and injuries. It is peer reviewed, free to the public and fully transparent. 

“Our physicians and team members work tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of safety in our hospitals and deliver premier quality healthcare to our patients,” said Suzanne Worthington, chief quality officer, Orlando Health. “The ‘A’ grades are an important testament to that commitment and achieving them at all our hospitals continues to be one of our top priorities.”

 Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital earned ‘B’ grades.
