Downtown Ocoee to have road closures

Ocoee Music Festival is tonight, which means several roads in downtown Ocoee will be closed.

Several roads in downtown Ocoee will be closed as a result of Ocoee Music Festival tonight. 

Streets that will be closed include East McKey Street, East Oakland Avenue, North Lakewood Avenue, North Lakeshore Drive, North Bluford Avenue, City Hall Drive and West Franklin Street. 

North Cumberland Avenue and West Oakland Avenue as well as parts of West McKey Street and South Bluford Avenue will be open only to local traffic. 

Ocoee police officers will be stationed throughout the area to assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety. 

The city of Ocoee asks for people to be patient to ensure the community's safety during the festival. 

The Orange County artists will perform at Ocoee Music Festival, which is Friday, Nov. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 15, at Bill Breeze Park. The festival is free to attend.
