Windermere Elementary hosting holiday toy drive

Windermere Elementary is hosting a toy drive. 

The school is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children at Orange Center Elementary, a school serving families in need in the Parramore community. 

The school will be accepting donations until Dec. 5. 

The toys will then be part of a Holiday Shopping Day, where parents can choose what gifts to get for their kids, something the school says brings dignity, choice and cheer this season to families in need. 

The school said every toy makes a difference and spreads the magic of the holiday. 

There also is an Amazon wishlist that will ship items directly to the school.
