Ocoee swimmer sets new school record

The sophomore Olivia Ray broke the 100 meter breaststroke record during preliminaries in states.

Ocoee High School swimmer Olivia Ray set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke with her time of 1:07:70. The sophomore beat her time from last year by two seconds. 

Her accomplishment qualified her to the finals of FHSAA Class 4A State Championship where she finished in fourth place. In Florida she’s ranked No. 74. 

She finished her second year as a Knight but her swimming journey will continue with the Southwest Stars Swim Club.
