Special Hearts Farm has purchased a 19-acre property to call its forever home.

The nonprofit serves individuals with disabilities by providing adult day training, supported employment and business opportunities related to farming and gardening experiences.

Recently, the farm purchased a property that is 10 times bigger than its current one.

With this purchase, the new agriculture training center will have a SMART  board in every room and a dedicated arts and crafts room besides the current amenities offered by the farm.

The nonprofit also will hold a virtual fundraiser Dec. 12 through Dec. 14.
