Senior housing community sold for $45.7 million in Hamlin

Overture Hamlin was sold to CIM Group and its joint venture partner.

Overture Hamlin, a welcoming community for adults over 55 years old in Winter Garden, was recently sold to CIM Group and a joint venture partner for $45.7 million. 

CIM is a real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, lender and developer founded in 1994 with more than 370 assets across the United States and Europe. 

 Built in 2021, Overture Hamlin is a 157,612-square-foot property that includes 180 units located at 5795 Citrus Village Blvd., Winter Garden. 

According to a press release by CIM Group, this purchase highlights its commitment to the active adult and senior living sector.

"A growing area of focus as the firm responds to strong demographic trends driving demand for housing and lifestyle options tailored to the 55+ population," it stated.
