The town of Oakland is hosting its fourth annual Music Under the Oaks event.

It'll take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at VanderLey Park.

This year, the event is '80s and '90s themed, so the town asks attendees to dress in style.

The event will consist of the Switch band playing 80s and 90s synth-pop to rock, as well as food trucks, alcoholic beverages, movie theater popcorn and glow sticks, providing multiple forms of entertainment for all to enjoy.

The town asks residents to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but reminds them that coolers are not allowed.

"Let's Rock 'n Roll!," Oakland posted on its Facebook page.
