Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive to be closed this weekend

Motor vehicles will not have access to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

With heavy rains expected this weekend, Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive will be closed.

The closure will be for motorized vehicles from Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

Vehicles could damage recent roadwork and slope improvements in wet conditions.

Pedestrian and bike access on the Lake Apopka Loop Trail will remain open.
