Ocoee High sends off School Resource Officer for deployment

Students came together for a fond farewell to Officer Eladio Martinez with the Ocoee Police Department.

Ocoee High School students came together to wish Ocoee Police Officer Eladio Martinez farewell. 

Martinez has been serving as the high school's school resource officer, but he is preparing for a deployment overseas with the Navy. 

"Officer Martinez has been a dedicated presence on campus, building strong relationships, mentoring students and keeping our school safe," Ocoee Police Department posted on Facebook. 

The send off included a "thank you" banner, balloons and more.
