Run, don't walk to sign up for the Pumpkin Patch Dash 5K

The West Orange Junior Service League is hosting its annual 5K run Saturday, Oct. 18 for a night full of fitness, fun and community spirit at Oakland Park, Winter Garden. 

This league was created by women of West Orange County who raise funds for community philanthropies and volunteer time to support those. 

Pumpkin Patch Dash 5K will start at 6 p.m. for the Kid's Fun Run, where children ages 6 to 11 can participate in a 1.5 mile run, and children under 5 will be offered a free, but shorter run. 

Participants will begin the 5K dash at 6:30 p.m.  

All registered participants will receive a dry-fit t-shirt, a timed race, a medal, goodie bag and post-race snacks. 

There also will be a live deejay, food trucks, festive activities and more throughout the event.
