Ocoee to host girls golf day inspired by Harry Potter

The Girls Golf First Tee of Central Florida invited girls aged 5 to 18 for a golf adventure. 

The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Forest Lake Golf Club at 10521 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Apopka. 

Invitees are asked to wear proper gold attire. 

"Grab your wands, cloaks and golf clubs," the city of Ocoee posted. "It's time to bring a little magic to the fairway!" 

Attendees will start with a meet and greet, followed by an art project, a self-talk session, warm ups and finally the golf instruction.
