Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive to close for the weekend

The St. Johns River Water Management District will close the drive for the weekend of Sept. 12-14.

The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive will close temporarily on the weekend to complete slope-stabilization work along sections of the drive.

The closure will take place from Friday, Sept. 12, to Sunday, Sept. 14.

The trail will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles.
