Children were excited to make their own colored sand jars.

Gary, Ryan, Jack and Diane Grykso enjoyed the time together. Gary Grysko said his favorite part of the night was the environment and its appeal for grandparents.
Barbra Fickley went with her grandson, Noah Baker. He has a stuffed eagle from last year and was excited to go home to it.
Under the stairwell, three stations were set up with different activities for students to do including sand making, eagle stuffing and cookies.
Windermere High School students, Reese Boylan and Cayden Minner, volunteered to hand out bingo cards to the large crowd of attendees.
The station to make eagles was popular at Grandparents Night.
Children made their own pet eagles and filled out their birth certificates.
Families came together and shared laughter during Sunset Park Elementary’s Grandparents Night on Friday, Sept. 12.
Monster boxes were made to put candy donations in.
Attendees listened to Kathleen Ruff, a fourth grade teacher at Sunset Park Elementary, give directions before starting bingo.
The front of the cafeteria displayed a large bingo card and made it easy to follow along.
Fifth grader Mary Ruoff helped volunteer at the prize station for bingo winners.

Attendees checked in at the front desk to retrieve their tickets before going to the activities.

Sunset Park Elementary’s students gathered with their families to celebrate Grandparents Night on Friday, Sept. 12.
Participants were greeted by their school mascot, an eagle, and they had the opportunity to take photos with it before heading into the cafeteria for bingo. Those who came to the event last year said the bingo and the environment was their favorite part.
Smiles spread throughout the school as children made stuffed eagles and decorated cookies while waiting for the event hosted by the Parent Teacher Organization to commence.
